To Honor our Heritage

Our founder, Justin Hunter, the son of the late Dr. William G. Hunter (a world-renowned expert in applied statistics and Design of Experiments), was influenced by his father’s desire to help others.

• Dr. Hunter also founded the American Society of Quality’s Statistics Division, co-wrote “Statistics for Experimenters” (one of the best selling books ever written on designing experiments), and co-founded the Center for Quality and Productivity Improvement.
• One of the most prestigious global awards an applied statistician can received is the Hunter Award, given in his honor each year.
• Dr. Hunter traveled to developing countries and taught Design of Experiments methods out of a heart-felt desire to help people become dramatically more effective at their jobs.  Some of this “desire to help” rubbed off on Justin.
